Background

Michael graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in 2001, and has taught and choreographed all over the world. His unique style fuses tap dance and rock n’ roll. Gregory Hines called him “The next generation of Tap.”

Choreography

Michael is the co-creator and choreographer of the Rock n’ Roll Dance show REVOLUTION (www.revolutiontheshow.com). Combining tap and Irish dance with a live rock band and multimedia, Michael’s production company teamed up with Columbia Artists Management (CAMI) to bring the show to the Joyce Theatre in NYC in the fall of 2007, followed by a US tour in ’08-’09, and a Europe and Mexico tour to follow in 2010.

Teaching Credits

Michael has taught at studios and schools all over the world. He is a professor of dance at PACE University in New York City, and can be found teaching at Broadway Dance Center in NYC.
