The NYC Dance Alliance Foundation, Inc. was founded by Joe Lanteri in 2010. NYCDAF is very excited to invest in the futures of many young performers...and truly change their lives forever!

Currently, two programs are in place - with scholarships to be awarded on July 5 and July 30, 2012.  Working with our College Partners, NYCDAF was able to award nearly $3,000,000 in scholarships to 40+ talented teenagers last summer.  More for 2012!?!

In July 2011, the University of the Arts (PA), Marymount Manhattan College (NY), Point Park University (PA) and Mercyhurst College (PA) recruited dancers at the NYCDA 4-day summer workshop and awarded numerous scholarships. We are excited to announce that more presitigious colleges are interested in joining us in July 2012.

NYCDAF is producing three annual professional events, designed to present the talents of our incredible faculty and alumni, showcase special guests from the professional dance and Broadway communities, and raise money for our College Scholarship Program.  YOUR dancers have an opportunity to perform at these events, as well.

We need your dancers and dance studio to get involved. The 2011-2012 campaign is underway, with built in rewards and incentives for everyone. NYCDAF offers you special performance and scholarship opportunities!  Let us fly you – all expenses paid – to NYC to perform in one of our fundraising special events!
