REGIONAL, NATIONAL, AND SUMMER INTENSIVE FACULTY

Andy received a Tony Award for Best Choreography for the multi-Tony Award winning musical “In The Heights” (also Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Lortel and Calloway Awards for Outstanding Choreography). Other Broadway choreography credits include the “Nine To Five” (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics and Astaire nominations), as well as the revival of “The Apple Tree” (starring Kristin Chenoweth). Other credits include the City Center Encores production of “The Wiz” (scheduled for B’way in 2010), the West End production of “Desperately Seeking Susan”, “Waiting For The Moon”, “A Little Princess”, “Pippin” (with Ben Vereen), and “A Wonderful Life”. He has staged work for Elton John and Bette Midler, and created the hit Caesars Palace production “Nights On Broadway”. Andy appeared on Broadway in “Fosse” (singing Mr. Bojangles on the cast recording), “Contact”, “Man of La Mancha”, “Saturday Night Fever”, “Steel Pier”, “Big”, “Guys and Dolls”, as well as tours of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Music Of The Night”, “West Side Story” and “Guys And Dolls”. He has been a guest choreographer on “So You Think You Can Dance”. Future projects include the new musical, “Bring It On”.
